FALL Watercolor Card

I created this card for a Fall Swap on Stampin' Addicts. The theme was Fall colors. This is a great way to use up your scraps to add color to a card. To make this card you will need:

-- An 8 1/2" x 11" piece of Crushed Curry. Cut in half at 5 1/2". Fold in half for a 4 1/4" X 5 1/2" card. Cut 3/4" off of the front edge.

-- Old Olive textured CS 2 3/4" by 4", Kraft 3 1/4" by 5 1/4", and half of a piece of watercolor paper 2 1/2" x 3 3/4"

-- Stamp flowers and jars using the Country Morning stamp set in Soft Suede. Using the in-color re-inkers and an aqua painter, watercolor the image. After the image is dry, place Crystal Effects on the jars for added dimention.

-- Cut out the letters for FALL using the Big Shot Sixxix die, Go Go Boots. Glue the letters to coordinating pieces of cardstock in a 1 1/8" strip. I used Rich Razzleberry, Old Olive, Dusty Durango and Soft Suede. After the card was assembled I added Crystal Effect to the letter to make them shiny and coordinate with the jars.

-- Emboss the piece of Kraft using the Big Shot Texturz Plate #4 Weave.

-- Use your mat pack and paper piercer punch holes up the side of the watercolor paper and hand stitch with thin linen thread and a needle. Assemble with glue stick and Stampin' Dimentionals.

-- The bow tag is a strip of 1/2" polka dot grosgrain ribbon flipped over to the solid Dusty Durango side.
