Scrapbook on a Spool and Blog Candy!

Scrapbook Open View
Happy Fourth of July! I had so much fun creating this project for Craft Project Central this month.Turn a wooden spool into a mini album and wrap your memories around it. This mini scrapbook contains five pages and can be customized to fit any size vintage spool. There’s room for more pages and inserts. When the scrapbook is open, the pages are attached to the spool. Set on a shelf or table, this little scrapbook makes a cute antique looking home décor item whether opened or closed. Create a matching vintage card to complete the set. I can't give you the instructions for free since I designed it for CPC, but you can SUBSCRIBE to July and get 9 more projects plus this one for only $10! All of the projects feature Stampin' Up! projects. Everything used on this project is SU except for the spool.
Blog Candy! Leave a message on this post describing your family traditions for the Fourth of July and a random winner will be chosen on Monday, July 11th to win a free month's subscription to Craft Project Central. Good luck and have a safe and happy Independence Day!

  5. We always have friends over for a barbecue to celebrate the 4th. We have accumulated many red, white and blue decorations over the years.

  6. In Canada...it's a red and white day! And strawberries are a must! If I were in the US celebrating, I imagine that we would have blueberries and raspberries...

  11. Kris:

I love this project!! What an awesome project and the card I cased it right away!! Love it!!

We are having a Breast Cancer Crop in Sept and I think this would make an awesome make and take for croppers. If you could be so gracious, Would you please email me and let me know where you order your spools from. I was looking on the internet and the largest ones I could find were
2 1/8 x 1 1/2 on Woodworks it looks like your wrap maybe wider than that. I just wanted to get the largest spools I could. Thought you may have a better lead on them.

You ladies have done an amazing job and now I will be subscribing to Project Central!

thanks for your inspiration, I needed a new quick scrappin project, my scrap tin has been my main stay for years.

I sure would appreciate if you could email me the link to the spools.

Crafting Blessings to you and the girls!
