Out on a Limb Decor Elements & Blog Candy Giveaway

Let the Fall decorating begin! I almost purchased these Decor Elements vinyl images twice. This is the Out on a Limb, 7 piece set featured in the Holiday Mini Catalog on page 13. I purchased an old window from an antique store. My children made up stories about how it came from a haunted house. Suddenly, the dog started barking at it and we all got freaked out. The vinyl is on the front of the glass. I placed some pieces of Spice Cake Designer Series Paper behind the sign and the owl's eyes and beak. You can click on the photo for a larger image. I wonder who used to look out of that old window? Well, I'm headed to Starbuck's for a Pumpkin Spice Latte. Thanks for visiting.

  1. I love to decorate for Halloween even though we don't get many trick-or-treaters. I have this large 3-4 ft diam. animated spider that I put in the front yard. It lights up in green and the legs and pincers (or antannai not sure)move up and down. Totally creepy! I also love to have my ceramic pumpkins all over the house. I just love the colors that fall brings! Fabulous window decor! I may just have to case it! Thanks for sharing!

  2. You alway have great ideas for Halloween, Kris. I love Halloween, it reminds me of my grandmother, when I was little, she would have awesome Halloween partys, family members we didn't see all year would not miss her Halloween partys.

  3. I don't really decorate for Halloween per se since I have small children (too scary for them), however I do really go all out with Fall decorations. I'm a sucker for anything that has pumpkins or acorns. And there is just something about Indian corn that is very appealing. I just love Fall!

  4. I'm past the Halloween stuff and decorate for Fall. I made fabric stuffed pumpkins that come out every year. My sister gave me a metal pumpkin thing that is like the ridges of a pumpkin that can collapse. I place a battery run candle in the middle and it is on my coffee table. I also won a wagon full of fall foliage that sits in my living room to welcome folks in to my house. Fall decor lasts at least 3 mons.

  5. Autumn is my absolute favorite time of the year. I love to decorate for Halloween with jack-o-lanterns everywhere; ceramic ones and real ones. I love my 4 ft. tall inflatable jack-o-lantern that has a witch's hat. He looks so cute on the porch.
