It's not too late to make a festive Independence Day Wreath! Here is my take on the wreath featured in June's issue of Craft Project Central. For detailed instructions just subscribe here: http://craftprojectcentral.com/4th-of-july-decor. I used the adorable Candy Wrapper Die and some retired pieces of Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper in Poppy Parade and Concord Crush. Have a safe and happy Fourth of July!

Trendy Summer Pinwheels
Featured Stamp Sets: Lean on Me, Tiny Tags |
Pinwheels are such a symbol of summer. I was inspired by the June 2012 issue of Stampin' Success magazine, which is a publication exclusively for Stampin' Up! Demonstrators. Stampin' Up! gives us the cutest and craftiest ideas to share and demonstrate. These are the projects that we'll make at June's Stamp Club.
The double pinwheel at the top is made from a 5" square of Whisper White Card Stock and a 4" square of retired DSP. The mini pinwheel on the card is a 2" square. The pinwheel below is a 6" square of DSP attached to a wooden skewer with a glue dot.
Here are a couple of easy to follow videos I found on You Tube to help you get a visual of creating a pinwheel: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rfv_9XNNIis and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ID-iSgnLcZo&feature=fvwrel I filled the Cellophane tube with Tic Tacs. One small rectangle filled the entire cello tube.

Keep Calm and Stamp On!
I'm a guest designer for this month's Creating Pretty Cards Sketch Challenge #12 over at Craft Project Central. This
month, they're trying something new. For every ten cards submitted, they will pick one winner of a free month subscription to Craft Project Central! The winner(s) will get to select the month of their choice!
So if they have 15 submissions this month they'll randomly pick one winner
from all submissions. If the project designers submit a card for your inspiration this month,
they won’t be in the winner random-selection pool, but their cards will
count towards the "for every 10 cards submitted winner total". Our
designers didn’t want to take away anyone’s chance of winning.
I created the inspiration card using the 2011-2013 In-Colors and the new hostess set, Carry On. I just love the Island Indigo Baker's Twine. For a complete list of supplies and a mini tutorial on how to make this card, just click HERE. By the way, I use Stampin' Up's My Digital Studio to make all of the sample sketches. I love the trendy flags, especially for scrapbooking. You can see lots of digital creations over at http://mydigitalstudio.net/ It's open to demonstrators and customers.
