We Create January Blog Hop - Occasions and Sale-a-Bration Time!

Happy New Year! Welcome to our Blog Hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators who create a simple project and then a “stepped up” version on the first of every month. Beginning January 3rd, there will be two Stampin' Up! events happening: The 2018 Occasions Catalog and Sale-a-Bration catalogs go live. The Sale-a-Bration (SAB) catalog has free items that you can get with either a $50 or $100 purchase. I'm featuring the Bubble Over Bundle which premiers in the Occasion Catalog. I'm also showing you the coordinating Bubbles and Fizz Designer Series Paper which premiers in the SAB catalog and it's free with a $50 purchase. As a Stampin' Up Demonstrator we get to pre-order items which is a lot of fun!

I used the Rock 'n Roll Technique on my simple version. I inked the bottle stamp with Lemon Lime Twist, then rolled the edges of the inked stamp on the Bermuda Bay ink pad then stamped. If you try this technique, always ink your stamp with the lighter color first so that you won't ruin your ink pad and roll in the darker color. The bottles were cut out with the coordinating framelits. I used the embossing blade on my trimmer to make the center border lines, then stamped the bubbles inside the lines.
I stepped it up by adding the Bubbles and Fizz Designer Series Paper which will be free in the SAB catalog with any $50 purchase. The framelits coordinate with the paper, so the only thing stamped here is the sentiment. The Basic Gray ribbon is also a SAB item, free with a $50 purchase in the Shimmer Ribbon pack which includes 3 different rolls.
I couldn't stop crafting. I stepped it up a third time by creating a bubble stencil with one of the framelits and using the Shimmery White Embossing Paste. Once this dried, I sprayed the piece with water and sprinkled new Brush Crystal Colour (will be available in the Occasions Catalog, page 26) in orange and yellow and spritzed some more.
I hope you enjoyed my creations. Please leave a comment and let me know if you have any questions. Thank you so much for stopping by! To see what the other bloggers' stepped up cards look like, hop on over to my creative friend Julie's blog, See Julie Stamp by clicking the Next Blog button below:
