My Inky Friends Design Challenge #6 - MIFDC6

Today I'm playing along with the sixth design challenge from My Inky Friends. For this challenge, we are featuring a fun and bright color challenge inspired by page 63 of the Annual Catalog.
I created this cute raccoon card using the Foxy Friends stamp set and coordinating Fox Builder Punch. I follow @what_the_hey on Twitter. She has a Periscope channel where she feeds raccoons in her backyard. It's the cutest thing! This card is inspired by her raccoon, named, Chewy.

We would love it if you played along and joined in on the fun. All you have to do is design a card based on the colors Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Bermuda Bay. Upload a photo of your creation to the My Inky Friends Blog. After the link closes on Friday, June 8, 2018 we will post a winner. If you upload to an online gallery, please use the keyword MIFDC6

  • Follow the general design of the sketch, although it can be flipped. For a color challenge, Stampin' Up! colors will be listed. You can use compatible colors and add neutrals as needed.
  • Create something new that has not been posted before.
  • Post your creation on your blog or online gallery. Please provide a link back to our challenge. Provide a direct link to your project or post to the Linky
  • Feel free to combine with up to three challenges, as long as you include a link to the Inky Friends post.
  • Have fun!

Do Something Creative Everyday Tiny Treat Boxes

Isn't this just the cutest little treat box! I got the original idea from Jennifer Cerizo's blog and changed it up a bit. The Bubbles and Fizz Designer Series Paper is left over from Sale-A-Bration and unfortunately no longer available. The darling bows were made with the Bow Builder punch which is retiring at the end of the month or while supplies last.
I used the Crafting Forever stamp set, which will be available again when the new Stampin' Up! catalog comes out next month. The Layering Circles Framelits dies are also carrying over! I made these for some friends for an upcoming crafting retreat using the Clear Tiny Treat Boxes. I'm going to fill them with a Sponge Dauber and a Stampin' Spot. What else could I fill them with?

If you'd like to place an order you may choose me as your demonstrator at Here are the supplies I used:
  • Stamp Set: Crafting Forever
  • Colors & Ink: Basic Black, Whisper White, Bermuda Bay, Calypso Coral, Lemon Lime Twist, Daffodil Delight.
  • Embellishments: Bow Builder Punch, Clear Tiny Treat Boxes, Layering Circles Framelits Dies
  • Tools: Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin' Trimmer, Glue Dots

Stampin' Up! Card Swap CASE - Touches of Texture

Every other month I do a card swap with Stampin' Up! Demonstrator friends from all over the U.S.  This time I CASE'd (Copy and Share Everything) myself.  Since the new Stampin' Up! catalog comes out next month, I wanted to send a card using elements that are carrying over and not retiring. I copied the card below from a previous blog post, but used the Touches of Texture stamp set instead of the Background Bits Hostess stamp pictured below.
(Click the photo above to see the original blog post.)
I love the gold embossing along with the Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake colors. The "treat yourself" sentiment is from the Picture Perfect Birthday stamp set which is also carrying over into the new catalog!

Please leave a comment and say hello! You can order any of the supplies to make this card by visiting and choose me as your demonstrator if you like. I used these supplies:
  • Stamp Sets: Touches of Texture, Picture Perfect Birthday
  • Colors & Ink: Clear Versamark, Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake
  • Embellishments: Gold Embossing Powder, Jute Twine, 3/8" Classic Weave Ribbon in Crumb Cake
  • Tools: Stamp-a-ma-jig, Heat Tool, Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin' Trimmer, Stampin' Dimensionals

We Create Feminine Blog Hop

Happy May Day! Join our hop as the We Create Bloggers show you some feminine cards for the month of May! Our feminine theme includes Mother's Day, flowers, butterflies and frills! I'm featuring the Jar of Love stamp set with the coordinating Everyday Jars Framelits dies. This set will be available again in the new Stampin' Up! catalog which comes out next month.
Cut the Garden Green card base at 8-1/2" x 5-1/2".  Cut out the white wood washed piece from the Wood Textures DSP measuring 4-1/4" x 5-1/4".  The polka dot front panel is from the Coffee Break DSP and it measures the same. Cut out the bottom right circle using the largest circle in the Layering Circles Framelits. Attach this piece on top of the wood piece using Stampin' Dimensionals. Stamp the jar with Pool Party and cut out with the coordinating framelit.  I used a variety of flowers in Flirty Flamingo and Calypso Coral. Tie a string of linen thread around the front panel before gluing it down. The completed base is glued to the front of the card and the jar is attached with Stampin' Dimensionals.
