Plaid Tidings Rustic Centerpiece Embellishments
I created these cute, rustic centerpieces out of bark from one of our giant Cottonwood trees that lost branches during our October 2020 ice storm. I wrapped the bark with a piece of Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper cut in 1-1/2" strips. Then tied a piece of Bumblebee In Color ribbon around each one.
Our Thanksgiving looks different this year due to Covid-19. We celebrated early with a socially distant feast! Everyone wore masks until it was time to eat. Instead of gathering around the small dining table, we spread out long tables in the living room.I love Fall décor and all of the leaves! Each one of the napkins had a different saying of gratitude on them. We used my mother in law's China and I went with a theme of Whisper White and Crumb Cake to tie it all in.
I was so proud of the twenty-four-pound turkey I roasted! I stuffed it with a blend of fresh rosemary, sage and thyme, one lemon and an onion. I basted the outside and under the skin with a butter blend made with fresh garlic, rosemary and finely chopped thyme.
Here is the dessert table. We had two pumpkin pies, brownies and an apple pie!
