Scallop Punch Ornament Tutorial

 

These scallop punch ornaments make great gift tags. They are really easy to make. All you need is a scallop punch, double sided designer series paper,adhesive and linen thread.
Instructions:
1) Punch out 8 scallops.

2) Fold in half. The trick to folding them in half is to fold ON the scallop NOT between the scallops. See the photo with two folded scallops. Look closely. The correct way to fold it is the one top which comes to a bit of a point.


3) Organize them by every other pattern.

4) Adhere them together as if you were stacking them like a taco sandwich.

5) Once you have the last one adhered, open it up and place your string in the middle. You can embellish with beads from the pretties kit.
