Retired Set Sunday Pop Up Card: Blooming Flower Garden
Welcome back to Retired Set Sunday - where I combine something retired with something current from Stampin' Up! I hope this inspires you to dust off your old Stampin' Up! supplies and get creative. This week I created this beautiful pop-up z-fold card using the flowers from the Jar of Love Bundle. The tutorial can be purchased from the talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, Bronwyn Eastley. Purchasing the tutorial helps her with her crafting business and it's inexpensive and easy to follow. So worth it! Here's the link: http://addinktivedesigns.com/2016/08/15/the-stamp-review-crew-jar-of-love/ My card varies from hers because I created the fence with the retired Woodgrain background stamp and Modern Label Punch. Her tutorial will show you how to create it with current supplies. My colors and flower arrangements are different too. The possibilities are endless. See how versatile this stamp set is!
What I love about this card is that it folds flat and will fit in a standard size envelop! Amazing! I used the sentiment from Cottage Greetings on the second panel that says, Wishing You Ridiculous Amounts of Happiness. When you peer down into the card, the flowers are glued to hills decorated with the Sheltering Tree Stamp. The background panels were created on watercolor paper washed with Island Indigo and an Aqua Painter. I used lots of water to get a feeling of the sky.
