Sweet Easter Card for TSOT692 & Double Trouble #213 | Fun Handmade Card Ideas
I had so much fun creating this Easter card, especially because it’s linked to two inspiring online challenges. For Double Trouble Challenge #213, I followed the 3‑2‑1 “SomeThing, AnyThing, EveryThing” recipe using a mix of favorites from my stash: two Easter‑themed die cuts (the February 2026 Paper Pumpkin basket and eggs) plus Linen Thread, two pieces from the Spring Celebrations Mix & Match Ephemera Pack, and one extra touch—a sweet gold bumble bee trinket. I also played along with Try a Sketch on Tuesday #692, using the sketch as the foundation for my layout and showcasing the new 2026–2028 In Color Painted Patterns DSP in Crisp Cantaloupe. With the optional twist to include something you’d find on an Easter bonnet or in a basket, I think the butterflies, eggs, and spring florals fit the theme perfectly.
✂️ Challenge Summary
Double Trouble Challenge #213 - 3-2-1 Recipe "SomeThing, AnyThing, EveryThing"
Thing 1 - Trouble Maker:
My 3 SomeThings from my stash are the February 2026 Paper Pumpkin Easter basket die cut, the Easter egg die cuts, and Linen Thread.
My 2 AnyThings are the butterfly and sentiment from the Spring Celebrations Mix & Match Ephemera Pack.
My 1 Everything Else is the sweet Stampin’ Up! gold bumble bee trinket.
Thing 2 - Double Dare:
I also played along with the sister challenge, Try a Sketch on Tuesday, TSOT692. The layout of my card follows the sketch, and I featured the new 2026–2028 In Color Painted Patterns Designer Series Paper in Crisp Cantaloupe to bring the design to life.
Thing 3 - Twisted Sister:
The optional twist was to include at least one Easter element you might find on a bonnet or in a basket. I think the butterfly, Easter eggs, and spring flowers capture that theme perfectly.
🌷Thanks so much for stopping by to take a look at my Easter card today. I really enjoyed combining the Double Trouble 3‑2‑1 recipe with the TSOT sketch—two challenges that always spark fresh ideas and push my creativity in the best ways. I hope this sweet spring design inspires you to pull out a few favorites from your own stash and play along. Wishing you a beautiful, crafty week ahead! Happy Easter
