We Create Christmas Blog Hop

Hello December! Welcome to the We Create Christmas Blog Hop! Thanks for joining us as we feature current Stampin' Up! paper, ink, stamps and embellishments from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog and the Holiday Catalog. I'm featuring the Festive Farmhouse Suite, starting on page 12 in the Holiday Catalog.
This easy wintry snow globe (from my local craft store) uses the Farmhouse Christmas Bundle which includes the Farmhouse Christmas stamp set and Farmhouse Framelits dies (when purchased as a bundle saves 10%). I stamped the sentiment onto Whisper White cardstock and used white embossing paste around the edges to look like snow. You can use your finger to spread the embossing paste or use a scrap piece of paper. The sentiment is attached to the Christmas tree with hot glue. The background fence was cut out with the coordinating framelit with a woodgrain piece of the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper. The little Cherry Cobbler bows lining the fence are cut out with the matching Farmhouse framelit.

The farm truck was stamped in Memento on Whisper White cardstock. I used a Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Write marker and an Aqua Painter to color the truck.  I usually scribble a little spot onto my craft mat then pick up the color with the Aqua Painter. I tied a piece of the 5/8" Striped Burlap Trim on the base and used a hot glue gun to attach the Galvanized button with the Cherry Cobble Twine. The Sprig punches are Mossy Meadow.
Simple stamping is new trend you may be noticing on social media. The coordinating card uses a plaid piece from the Festive Farmhouse DSP on a Cherry Cobbler base. I embossed the Very Vanilla piece with the Cable Knit embossing folder. The sentiment is from the Festive Farmhouse stamp and the Merry Christmas is cut out with the coordinating Farmhouse Framelits. I used the Layering Circles Framelits dies to cut out the sentiment and matted it onto a Basic Black circle cut out with the Stitched Shapes framelits die to match the stitching on the Merry Christmas sentiment.
