How to Create a Fun Fold Twist Card
Does this kit look familiar? It's from the November 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit called, With Love & Gratitude. Since it's Tuesday it's time for a Paper Pumpkin Alternative Tuesday creation! You can make a fun fold Twist Card using the pieces from the kit. Here's how:Use two of the card bases from the kit and turn them over where the Lost Lagoon side is facing you. On the first card, score the diagonal only on the left side as shown. On the second card, score on the diagonal only on the right side as shown.
Using the square from the Stylish Shapes dies, cut out a square in the center of the left panel of the second card. Save the square that you cut out to decorate the front of the card. Carefully peel apart one of the envelopes and cut it just a little under 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" and attach behind your square opening. Glue this panel on top of the first card as shown. You are gluing the left panel of the second card on top of the right panel of the first card. The card will close like this:Prepare the front panel of your card by building onto a base of Basic White cardstock that measures 3-1/4" x 3-1/4". Attach your completed piece by only gluing it onto the triangle on the left. Be careful and only attach your glue to the triangle. You don't want glue on the top back of your piece or the card will not open and you will have a sticky mess. Watch it unfold here:
