Create Easy Envelope Treat Holders Using the Fall Paper Pumpkin Kit

Want to do more with your Paper Pumpkin kits? Well, welcome to Paper Pumpkin Alternative Tuesday, where you will learn alternative ways to use a Paper Pumpkin kit to stretch your supplies and refill kits. The September 2023 kit, With Love & Gratitude comes with 3-3/4" envelopes with printed artwork inside the envelope. Pretty fancy!

It's so easy to turn these little envelopes into little treat holders. First, cut of the top of the envelope, about a quarter of an inch, where the glue is. Next, score the envelope 1/2" on each side 1/2" across the bottom. That's it! Before folding out the envelope, gently use a Blending Brush to apply Lost Lagoon ink to the bottom half of the envelope.

Using your hands, work with the envelope to fold it out with gusseted sides. Keep working with it until you have it puffed out. Two little triangles will stick out on the bottom sides. Fold them in a and use a glue dot to attach them to the bottom of the treat holder. You may need to use a bone folder to flatten them out before sticking them down.

Use the pumpkin and leaves that come with the kit to embellish it. The added sprigs are gold, but you can use the back side to coordinate with the project. Carefully cut apart one of the envelopes to use the printed portion to top off the treat holder.
