Beachy Banner Tutorial with Party Banner Dies & Rolling Waves Dies | Stampin’ Up!

🌴 Create a Charming Beach‑Inspired Banner

There’s something so fun about building a banner piece by piece, especially when you can mix textures, soft colors, and playful little details. This beachy design comes together with simple die‑cutting, easy layering, and a few whimsical accents that make each panel feel like its own tiny shoreline scene.

🏖️ How to Create the Beachy Banner Pieces
To build all the layers for this summery banner, start by preparing your die‑cuts:

Base Layers:
Die cut seven of the largest banner shapes from Thick Basic White using the Party Banner Dies. These will give your project a sturdy foundation.

Layered Panels:
Using the second‑largest banner die, cut:
• 7 more in Basic White
• 7 in Basic Beige
• 7 in Pool Party Shimmer Pastels Specialty Paper
These create the soft, beach‑inspired layers that stack beautifully on each base.

Tide Details: With the Rolling Waves Dies, cut the tide pieces from Basic White for crisp, clean wave accents.

Umbrellas: For the colorful umbrellas, die cut pieces in Flirty Flamingo, Basic White, and Blueberry Bushel.

Beach Towels: Trim 1" × 2" rectangles from your Beach Boardwalk DSP scraps to make the little beach towels—such a fun way to use leftovers.

Letters: Use the Party Alphabet dies to cut out your letters. I spelled out Welcome using some beachy scrapbook paper from my stash, but I think it would be fun to use some extra vacation photos of the waves rolling in.
