Translucent Florals - Using a Die Cut as a Stencil

Have you ever made a card, thought you were done, but you just can't stop? That's the idea for "stepped up" cards. You can use a die cut to create a stencil! That's how the silver leaves were created. Just make a stencil out of a scrap of cardstock. Use a pallette knife to spread embossing paste over the stencil. Let it dry before adding your die cuts and Classic Matte Dots.
The simple version is lovely too with the leaves in Garden Green against the Gray Granite cardstock.
These elegant cards were part of the virtual Stampin' Up! demonstrator event, Creativity Now. The Translucent Florals Bundle will be available on September 6th when the Sept-Dec. Mini Catalog comes out, AKA the Holiday Mini.
Sign up for the Paper Fairy email list and you'll get notified when this bundle is available. For a list of everything that's available now, check out the Demonstrator Business Webpage HERE.
