July's Stampin' Up! creative challenge is to use Specialty Designer Paper in a creative way. The Specialty Papers can be found on page 127 of the 2023-2024 Annual Catalog or by clicking on the links in this post. The Soft Shimmer 12" x 12" Paper Combo Pack includes 5 sheets in shimmering Berry Burst, Bubble Bath, Night of Navy, Lost Lagoon and Pretty Peacock. Emboss the Berry Burst shimmer paper with the Leaf Fall Embossing folder and fussy cut a couple of the leaves. Cut out a circle with the Stylish Shapes dies. Pebbled Path Jute Trim adds such nice texture. Stamp the Berry Harvest background stamp onto Very Vanilla cardstock in Berry Burst ink for the background. Stamp another Berry Burst image with black Memento and color it in with Berry Burst and Old Olive Stampin' Blends. Fussy cut to create a layer. The "Hi, Friend" sentiment is stamped and cut out with the Wonderful Thoughts bundle. Play along and post your creation to social media using #creativechallengeSU.
