Stampin' Up! Mini Slimline - Sunshine & Rainbows

 

Hello Sunshine! This sweet card is a mini slimline card. Slimline cards are very popular right now. The most popular slimline card is 3-1/2" x 8-1/2".  There's even a big slimline that's 4" x 9".  This mini is 3-1/2" x 6".  Just cut your base 7" x 6" and score or fold at 3-1/2" (down the 7" side). 

I chose my color combo right off of the piece of Sunshine & Rainbows DSP. I picked out Misty Moonlight for the base, So Saffron (first layer), Pool Party and Soft Sea Foam for the embossed rectangles, and Bermuda Bay for the piece behind the DSP. The rectangles are embossed with the splatters from the Stripes & Splatters embossing folder. 

I cut out the flag on the top left of the card and the circles using the Tasteful Labels dies. The sentiment is from the Special Moments stamp set.
