Wildlife Wonder Corner Latch Card
The Wildlife Wonder stamp from Stampin' Up! goes beautifully with the New Horizons Designer Series Paper. I saw a fun corner latch card created by Patti Dolan and just had to try it with this set. The images and sentiment are stamped with the Wildlife Wonders stamp set in Smoky Slate. The birds on the inside panel are stamped with the On the Horizon Stamp set in Basic Gray. Dies used are Tasteful Labels and Stitched so Sweetly. I added piece of Gray Granite Baker's Twine.
To create this card, cut your base with Evening Evergreen at 4 -1/4" x 11". Score at 5 - 1/2" and cut off a piece at 2-3/4". Save this piece for the front panel. Cut two pieces of the New Horizons DSP at 2-1/2" x 4". To create the corner latch, cut a square of Evening Evergreen at 2-1/4" x 2-1/4" and cut diagonally. Attach a piece of New Horizons DSP cut at 2" x 2" and cut diagonally. Line the inside with a piece of Basic White cardstock cut at 5-1/4" x 4". Attach the corner piece with Stampin' Dimensionals.
If you don't have the dies, you can easily create this card with #simplestamping and use whatever rectangle or die you have on hand, or just cut a rectangle to create a focal point for your image. The card below uses a base of Old Olive and the image is stamped in Cinnamon Cider.
