Pick of the Patch

 

Play along with the Color Throwdown Challenge #756. Use the Pick of the Patch stamp set, available in September as part of the Mini Catalog. Stamp four pumpkins onto Basic White cardstock. Color over the pumpkins using Stampin' Write Markers and just keep layering colors and shadows. Use watercolor pencils over the ink to add dimension and highlights to the pumpkins.  Draw in the stems and vines. Use Metallic Enamel Effects in Copper to add fun dots.

Use Pumpkin Pie, Garden Green, Wild Wheat and Early Espresso. The pumpkins are stamped on a base of Basic White cardstock cut out with the Scalloped Contours dies, but the scalloped edges are cut off and distressed. The background DSP is Wild Wheat from the In Color 6" x 6" DSP Assortments.
