How to Make a Mini Slimline Card with a Past Paper Pumpkin Kit

 

It's Paper Pumpkin Alternative Tuesday! Let's create a mini slimline card today, using the July 2023 Paper Pumpkin Kit from Stampin' Up! called, Fun in the Sun. There are different sizes of slimline cards. This mini one is 3-1/2" x 6" when folded. Cut your cardstock base 7" x 6" and score at 3-1/2" down the 7" side or just fold in half. 

When you punch out your background image, from the kit pieces, save that piece to use it as a stencil or mask. Turn your focal image over and place the stencil above it. Using Azure Afternoon ink and a Blending Brush, stencil in the clouds. Keep moving up the "stencil" and lightly blend the color as you go. Use a bit of Pool party ink around the edges with your Blending Brush. To get a sentiment to fit where you want it to, use a Stampin' Write Marker to color onto the stamp, then stamp the words in the order that you want them.
