Super Cool Retro Card

Doesn't this remind you of a 50's diner? Create a checkered background by using Clear Block A as a stamp. Just stamp the block into a Basic Grey ink pad and create a checkerboard pattern onto Basic White cardstock for the background. The shimmery diagonal strip is a piece of the Soft Shimmer Combo pack in Night of Navy. 

Can you see the shimmer on the ice cream cones? Each cone was stamped in Smoky Slate, Basic Grey and Memento. Then, the entire ice cream cone was covered with Clear Versamark and heat embossed with Clear Embossing powder. The stars were cut out with the dies in the Give it a Whirl set.
