Heart and Home Suite Sneak Peek

 

This was the last day of Stampin' Up's virtual convention, OnStage@Home. These cards were part of our Stamp & Share experience using this brand new suite from the upcoming January - June 2022 Mini Catalog, called the Heart & Home Suite. 

From this suite, I used the stamp set called, Blessings of Home along with the coordinating Flowers of Home die. This beautiful Designer Series Paper is called, Heart & Home. It coordinates with Basic Grey, Cinnamon Cider, Fresh Freesia, Garden Green, Misty Moonlight and Pale Papaya. The background bouquet was stamped in Cinnamon Cider. The technique we learned was to blend the stamped ink with an Aqua Painter to color in the image. It looks so cool and vintage. I just love it. 

Look at this beautiful 3/8" Denim ribbon peeking out from under the sentiment above. The technique I learned today was to use the edge of a sponge dauber with Night of Navy (or Misty Moonlight) to lightly color in the flower.  Just swipe the edge of the sponge dauber into your ink pad and just lightly color with the edge of the dauber.

Here is the last card we created today. These dies are just beautiful and I love how they frame the sentiment. The sentiment is stamped onto the back of the DSP. All of the back sides are white washed wooden patterns.
