Notes of Spring - Easy Faux Silk Technique

Stampin' Up! releases a new product item every month. You can purchase it for $5 when you spend $75 or more, while supplies last. Sometimes, a POTM will carry over the next month if there are any left. But, once they are gone, they are gone.

You should definitely try this technique. It's so easy. Stamp your image onto Basic White cardstock using Classic Stampin' Pads. Let it dry for 5 minutes. Crumble a piece of white tissue paper, like the kind you use to add to gift bags. Cover your stamped image with a glue stick. I used a purple Elmer's glue stick. Glue the tissue paper over your stamped image and trim the excess. I've also seen this technique done where they stamp onto the tissue paper.
